The Labor Day 2023 Offer entitles you to purchase one year of MasterClass annual membership at a discounted rate for yourself or as a gift for someone else. Can I purchase a discounted membership for myself, and still receive a discount on my gift purchase?
Yes, you can purchase an annual membership and receive the discounted rate as well as purchase gifts at the discounted rate.
Will I receive the discounted rate for future renewals?
No, the discount is only applied during the promotion period. Your subscription will renew at the then-current full non-promotional price. Note that you can manage your renewals and subscription within your account settings if you choose not to renew your membership.

Managing Your Gift
How will my gift recipient redeem their gift membership?
After you purchase your gift, we will present you with the option to provide information about the person you would like to give the free MasterClass membership to. All you have to do is provide us with the name, email and date of the recipient you wish to send the membership to and your recipient will receive an email with a redemption link to access their free annual membership. You can either set this gift up immediately after your purchase, or you can login and access the gift in your account to give later. Note, the gift will automatically expire if not redeemed within 365 days from your purchase of this offer.

Can I print my gift?
Yes, you can print your gift while logged into your account through the manage gift portal. To access the manage gift portal you will first need to log into your account then select "gifts" in the account menu (upper right corner). Once you are in the manage gift portal you can click "print" next to the gift you would like to print out.

What if my gift recipient already has an annual membership?
Their annual membership will be extended by one year.
Can I give a gift membership to an iOS or Android user?
Yes, however your gift recipient must sign up on our website via the redemption link we email them. Once your gift recipient signs up, they can then use our mobile app (iOS or Android) to access classes.
I currently don’t know who I want to give my free membership to. Or I do, but don’t have their email or don’t want to send it at this time. Is that okay?
While gifts purchased during the promotion need to have a set recipient at the time of purchase, gifts can be scheduled to be sent at a later time. If you choose to send your gift later, you can edit the recipient's email address between the time of your purchase and the scheduled send date and time. Note: The gift will automatically expire 365 days from your purchase date if it is not redeemed by the recipient of your choice.
Can I schedule my annual membership gift to be sent at a later time?
Yes, you can schedule the free membership gift to be delivered to your recipient at a later date and time of your choice, but please note that the gift will automatically expire within 365 days of your purchase date if not redeemed by your recipient. If at any point you wish to send your gift, you can visit the Manage Gift portal. Please note, that annual memberships purchased for yourself will begin immediately once you complete and purchase your order.
I already sent my gift, but it has not been redeemed. Can I send it to someone else?
Yes, you can update your gift and resend it to someone new as long as the gift has not been redeemed and is within 365 days of purchasing this promotion. To do so you will need to visit the gift portal where you can update the recipient and re-send the gift.
Does the gift membership expire?
Yes, if the free one-year annual membership gift is not redeemed by your gift recipient within 365 days from the date of your purchase of this offer, the gift will automatically expire.
Once your recipient redeems their membership gift, they will have one year of access from the date they redeemed it.
How can I track and manage my gift?
You can track and manage your gift at any time! Once you have signed up and created your account you can access and manage your gift by selecting the profile icon in the upper right corner of your account homepage. A drop-down menu will appear with the option to access your gifts.

Managing Your Purchase
What is the refund policy for this promotion?
We generally offer a 30-day refund policy if you are not satisfied with your purchase, which applies to this promotion. However, to avoid abuse, our policy for this offer is that once your recipient redeems their gift annual membership, you cannot get a refund. If you request and obtain a refund for your purchase before your recipient redeems their free membership, the free gift membership will automatically be voided and will no longer be redeemable.
I recently purchased a MasterClass membership. How do I take advantage of this new offer?

The discounted offer is applied to your gift purchase at checkout.
Will my guest pass convert to the discounted purchase price?
Guest passes are not included as part of the Labor Day 2023 Offer. Your guest pass will convert to our non-promotional price membership unless you set the guest membership to cancel at the end of the 14-day guest pass timeframe.
